The “Action for Kitchen God Day 2024” campaign has come to an end!

The annual campaign, with a series of events including educational training, painting contest and clean-up event, raising awareness of the community in reducing the release of nylon bags, ashes, and offerings into the river on the Kitchen God Day.

Every year, this event brings forth fresh emotions and exciting surprises. Thanks to the enthusiastic support of all individuals and organizations, who have accompanied us, the campaign has achieved remarkable success, contributing to making the Tet Holiday more meaningful. Here are some highlights of the campaign:

Educational workshop: Keep Vietnam Clean shared knowledge and experience on green living with nearly 100 members of the Women’s Union in Bac Tu Liem, students from Westlink International School and Reigate Grammar School Vietnam

Painting contest: the competition aimed to convey the message of water protection and bring God back to haven. We received the participation from 103 contestants with 44 outstanding works selected and exhibited at the “Drawing the Kitchen God – Message of hope for a cleaner future” exhibition.

Clean-up event: The event contributed to environmental protection, welcoming a green, clean, and beautiful Tet Holiday. With the support of more than 50 volunteers, 40 students from British Vietnamese International School Hanoi- BVIS Hanoi, the Women’s Union in Bac Tu Liem, and all sponsors, vendors, Keep Vietnam Clean collected 1391kg of waste under the Chuong Duong Bridge.
